What I love about this work...

...is the opportunity to work with people in the process of exploring and striving to reach therapeutic goals. We often get closed in by a set of assumptions about ourselves and our relationships that keep us from reaching truly attainable changes. It is exciting to watch the growth and change that people are able to make as they discover hidden resources for transformation within themselves.

People often ask about the letters after my name. LPC means that I am a Licensed Professional Counselor [# 15340] through the Texas State Board of Examiners of Professional Counselors. I am also a Licensed Professional Counselor in Colorado [# LPC.0017913]. The NCC means I am a National Certified Counselor through the National Board of Certified Counselors, Inc. [# 44958]. I have a BS in Psychology from Texas A&M University and a MS in Counseling and Human Development from Texas Woman’s University. Since 1994 I have worked with a wide variety of individuals during my graduate training & postgraduate employment, both with non-profit agencies and in private practice.

I look forward to talking with you soon.
